The BIR 9th Artificial Intelligence Congress brought together clinicians, policymakers, researchers and industry leaders for two days of focused discussion on how artificial intelligence is moving from promise to practice across healthcare. Held in London, the event emphasised the challenge of scaling AI within real-world clinical settings, with sessions exploring applications in radiology, cancer care and chronic disease management, alongside critical conversations on governance, ethics and NHS integration. We thank all our attendees, speakers and sponsors including: Siemens Healthineers, Philips Healthcare, Medica, Harrison.ai, SECTRA, FLOY, AXREM, Quibim, Radiobotics and DeepHealth.
“The 9th BIR AI Congress marked a genuine inflection point for our field. The conversation has matured from 'does AI work?' to 'how do we govern, scale and embed it responsibly?' — and that shift is everything. The breadth of expertise in that room, across clinical practice, regulation, investment and policy, made for two days of exactly the kind of rigorous, honest dialogue that clinical AI needs right now."
