Virtual events co-ordinator
Are you an events professional with experience organising virtual events (ideally using Adobe Connect)?
We are a registered charity and membership organisation, bringing together all the professions in radiology and radiation oncology to share knowledge and education, thereby improving the prevention and detection of disease and the management and treatment of patients.
Virtual events have been part of our strategy for some time, and our highly successful virtual events programme is growing as healthcare professionals require information and education but can not travel to in-person events due to the current pandemic. We strongly believe virtual events will continue growing in importance schedule even after in-person events start up again.
To do this, we need your help. If you have experience organising online events, prepping speakers, assisting delegates, liaising with sponsors, and working with an online events platform (ideally Adobe Connect) we would love to hear from you.
We are a friendly, busy team working in an interesting area and doing genuinely important work. Our office is in Farringdon, central London. We are currently working from home, and flexible working, including a mixture of home and office based working will continue to be an option in the longer term.
Key elements of the job include:
- Events co-ordination – organising a portfolio of events (circa 12-15 per year). Closely working with subject specialists, meeting organisers, and colleagues, managing budgets, completing event proposals, finalising programme details, sourcing sponsorship, managing the registration process, assisting delegates, and conducting event evaluations
- Marketing – liaising with organisers and speakers on marketing and promotional campaigns, including social media. Designing and distributing marketing materials
- Customer service – assisting customers for your events and for our online video courses
