We’re looking for passionate and committed individuals to join BIR’s Council as Trustees for the session starting 1 October 2026. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in guiding the future of the Institute. As a Trustee, you’ll contribute to strategic decision-making, support strong governance and help ensure our work continues to make a meaningful impact.
What’s involved?
• A 3-year term on Council
• Participation in four Council meetings per year
• Ongoing collaboration with fellow Trustees and involvement in wider Institute activities
How to nominate
• Nominations must be supported by two members of the BIR, with consent of the nominee
• Nominees must be members of the BIR
• Please send your nomination form, which should include a short resume of up to 500 words on the relevant experience of the nominee, to Lucy Stewart (lucy.stewart@bir.org.uk) by 30 June 2026.
