We’re looking for passionate and committed individuals to join BIR’s Council as Trustees for the session starting 1 October 2026. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in guiding the future of the Institute. As a Trustee, you’ll contribute to strategic decision-making, support strong governance and help ensure our work continues to make a meaningful impact.
What’s involved?
• A 3-year term on Council
• Participation in four Council meetings per year
• Ongoing collaboration with fellow Trustees and involvement in wider Institute activities
Nominations must be from two members of the BIR, with the consent of the person being nominatedm, who must also be a BIR member, Please send your nomination form, which should include a short resume of up to 500 words on the relevant experience of the nominee, to Lucy Stewart (lucy.stewart@bir.org.uk) by 30 June 2026.
