Vacancies 2025
The BIR’s Council have three trustee vacancies for the session starting 1 October 2025. Terms of service on Council are 3 years:
- Vice President for Publications
- Vice President for External Affairs
- Ordinary Trustee
Trustees provide strategic guidance and leadership, and ensure good governance of all BIR activities. This is achieved through participation in Council meetings (four per year) with additional regular contact with fellow trustees and participation in other areas of BIR activity. Trustee roles are voluntary and therefore unremunerated.
Nominations must be from two members of the BIR, with the consent of the person being nominated, and should include a short resume of up to 500 words on the relevant experience of the nominee. Please send your nomination form to Lucy Stewart (lucy.stewart@bir.org.uk) by 30 June 2025.
