The Clinical Imaging SIG is a multidisciplinary group. We welcome radiologists, physicists and radiographers. The group promotes and facilitates teaching and research in clinical radiology and related fields.
The SIG organise one-day meetings on specific topics of current interest.

Highlights of the SIG Management Group meeting November 2017
With Dr Sri Redla’s promotion to Honorary Secretary on the BIR’s Council, the chair of the Clinical Imaging SIG has passed to Kannan Rajesparan. The management grouped thanked Sri for his time as chair and welcomed Kannan to the role.
Feedback from BIR members has suggested a strong desire for more events around trauma and emergency radiology. To provide this we will be inviting some specialists in those areas to join the management group, with a view to eventually splitting off into a separate SIG. If you have a particular interest and would like to participate, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

- Artificial Intelligence in Imaging - Threat or Opportunity: 23 March 2018. The excellent programme will include talks by Dr Nicola Strickland and Dr Hugh Harvey. IBM Watson & other Industry Representatives will present the current state of play in the development of AI
