Would you like to nominate a professional colleague for the esteemed Toshiba Mayneord Memorial Award?
This award is in the form of an eponymous lecture, to be given at UKRC in June 2014.
The BIR is looking for an individual or a group of collaborators who will be recognised for their important contributions in the field of radiology. The topic for the lecture must cover innovative technologies associated with image acquisition/processing or display which affect clinical diagnosis and the management of patient care.
This lecture, founded in 1984, is in memory of Professor V M Mayneord, CBE, FRS, and past president and honorary member of the BIR.
The BIR is proud to partner with Toshiba to support this award. Mark Hitchman, Managing Director, Toshiba Medical Systems: “Toshiba are delighted to partner with the BIR to fund this award, which recognises and values skills and contributions at the forefront of science; this is very much in line with our commitment to education.”
