Company Subscribers

The BIR Company Subscriber Scheme was launched in 1987 for all companies with an interest in radiology and allied sciences. Member companies are offered an attractive range of benefits:

• Free individual membership of The BIR for two company nominees, including all Full Member benefits. Any additional members of staff who want to become members of the BIR can become a BIR Company Affiliate as described below.
• Inclusion in the Company Subscriber listing printed each month in BJR and each year in the BIR Annual Report
• Free advertising - one colour/two mono printed adverts in the British Journal of Radiology (BJR)
• Discounts on our books and journals
• Discounted institutional rate subscription to The British Journal of Radiology (BJR) and Imaging, with the subscription networked worldwide in the company
• Dedicated page on the BIR website - including hotlink to the Company Home Page
• Preferential rates for hiring meeting rooms at the BIR headquarters at 36 Portland Place
• Use of the BIR's Library, Information Centre and Archive Services at preferential member rates
• Preferential rates for exhibiting at, and inserting communications in delegate packs for, BIR Scientific Meetings
• ...and a number of other benefits. We are happy to work with all of our Company Subscribers to assist them where we are able.

Company Affiliate Membership

Company Affiliate Membership is open to applicants who are directly employed by one of The BIR Company Subscribers. All Company Subscribers can nominate two members of staff to receive full membership benefits, free of charge. The Company Affiliate Membership Scheme is for any additional members of staff, (please see the "Company Subscriber section" above). Affiliate Members receive the same benefits as Full Members for just over half the cost. To apply, please complete and return the company affiliate application form.
