BIR Event Management Services

As well as organising the Scientific Meetings at the BIR, the Conference Office organises events for external clients as well. These range from annual events to large congresses and one-off events.

The department has a proven track record of efficient medical conference and exhibition management, having organised exhibitions from 100 - 6000m2 and delegate numbers from 75 - 3000. The BIR can manage all elements of an event, including venue liaison, on-line registration, administration of a scientific programme using on-line abstract management and submission and the Institute's Publications department can provide management and editing of conference proceedings in print or electronically.

Tamara Anderson, Head of Conferences and Events, is a full member of the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (www.abpco.org)

ABPCO members operate to the highest business and ethical standards, governed by a Code of Practice, in the management of national and international association and corporate conferences, seminars, top level meetings, exhibitions and special events.
