This conference is dedicated to Modern Brachytherapy, a field in which there have been many recent scientific and clinical developments, and great scope for modernisation and application of best-practice techniques. It will be an ideal opportunity to share work in this field. The emphasis will be on physics aspects but clinical contributions and attendance is encouraged to make this a multidisciplinary meeting, which is so essential in brachytherapy services.
